Bible Study Group
There are approximately 10 different types of Home Study Groups taking place within the parish family. Some are in homes, others at the church. Please ask the Parish office for details of times and places. Some groups are at a maximum number and so if necessary we will start a new group for you.

Healing Service
On the third Friday of each month a Healing Service is held by the ‘Order of St Luke the Physician’ Peel Chapter. This group is a state wide organization whose aim is to bring healing to those in need. The service is very friendly and non-threatening. It comprises of a short liturgy, two or three songs, a short message and a time prayer and anointing with Holy Oil for healing.

Chat ‘n Chew
This is an outreach ministry catering for people who are house bound for one reason or another. A group of ladies cater for the luncheon which is held on the first Friday of each month from 11:30am to approximately 1:00pm at Christ’s Church. Drivers volunteer to pick the people up and bring them to the church and take them home again.

Children’s Church and Sunday School
This is held during the 10:00am Sunday Service. Young children are taken to the activity room after the children’s talk and song. They engage in learning, singing and activities for approximately 30—40 minutes. They then return to their parents for communion. There is also a class especially for Tweens and Teens who are presented more age appropriate learning and activities.

Ladies Connection Group
This group is for women’s fellowship and to build a connection between the parishioners attending different services. They meet on the third Thursday of each month, either over a lunch or evening meal.

Men’s Fellowship Group
Like the women, the men get together on the second Friday of each month at Christ’s Church for fellowship over dinner. There is usually a guest speaker and the focus of the group is to encourage men in their Christian journey.

Knit - ins
During the winter months, the public and parishioners are invited to knit squares or lengths which are sewn together to make blankets for the needy. These blankets are given to anyone in need or homeless throughout the Diocese of Bunbury. They also knit beanies. The ladies meet every Wednesday during winter at Christ’s Church from 9.30 to 11.30 am.

Mother’s Union
This group is part of a wider organization and they meet on the third Wednesday of each month at Christ’s Church from 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm. The focus of the group is to encourage women in their Christian journey and to support them.

Music Ministry
Our 8:15 am Service has a Choir which lead the hymns during the service. They meet every Saturday morning at 9.00 am for Choir Practice. There is also a Worship Singing Group at the 10:00 am service.

Prayer Chain
A group of compassionate and confidential people who pray for those who are sick, suffering or just in need of prayer. A prayer request is given to the coordinator and she contacts the members who individually and collectively pray for those on the prayer list.

Flower Team
Parishioners with a flair for floral art volunteer each week to decorate the church with flowers. They also do the floral arrangements for weddings and some funerals or for special occasions.

Catering Team
Many women in the Parish love to cook, so together they cater for funerals, morning, afternoon teas or functions within the parish.

Mission Outreach
This team of parishioners help to raise funds for missions within our Diocese, Western Australia, Australia and Overseas.

Thursday Morning Teas
Members of this group take it in turns to make scones or cake to serve with tea & coffee each Thursday morning. Members of the public are invited to come into the church for a cuppa and fellowship and they pay a minimal donation. The funds that are raised go to an organization called ‘Youthcare’. This organization helps place and keep Chaplains in schools.
